Holland Chorale kicks off our fall concert with the Michigan premier of Minnesota-based composer Kyle Pederson’s new work, A VISION UNFOLDING. The five-movement work taps gospel, Americana, folk and spiritual styles to celebrate community, freedom and hope. We’re also delighted to welcome West Michigan’s newest choral ensemble, VoxGR under the direction of Dr. Christopher Mason. This may be the most thrilling vocal music you’ll hear this fall!

Our popular CHRISTMAS WITH THE CHORALE performance will feature your warm and fuzzy holiday favorites, paired with some fun/funny and fresh arrangements specifically for the Holland Chorale. The concert includes Shawn Kirchner’s THE LIGHT OF HOPE RETURNING, featuring a number of Kirchner’s best-loved Christmas settings combined with newly penned carols on Christmas, Winter Solstice, and New Year’s themes. We are delighted to welcome back West Michigan Children’s Chorus, which has had our audiences cheering with support and joy for their lovely voices!

Your Chorale turns 65 this year! The times, they are a-changing, and we’re singing music of justice, unity and understanding. Don’t miss our first performance with platinum-selling jazz artist Ann Hampton Callaway, who is known for the songs she wrote for Barbara Streisand (“At the Same Time,” and “I’ve Dreamed of You”) for Streisand’s wedding to James Brolin. Ann is Tony Award – nominated for Best Featured Actress in a musical for her 2000 performance in SWING! This is also Dr. Patrick Coyle’s farewell performance, after leading the Chorale for nine seasons.

Adventures in Harmony Showcase

Join us for a free event that unites over 200 high school students from local schools, college students, and Holland Chorale members in an intergenerational musical experience. Throughout the day, students will participate in a clinic led by esteemed guest clinician Pamela Pierson, culminating in an evening performance to showcase their talents.

Three magical evenings for anyone craving something inspiring and joyful during the Michigan winter. These themed evenings are presented in private homes in the lakeshore area – think fireside nights of Broadway classics, American songbook, and popular arias. Solos and at least one ensemble selection will thrill, no matter the style you prefer, or choose all three!
Summer Sing: A VISION OF THE FUTURE

This is an all-call! Come and sing with us for a couple of hours on Saturday, June 7th9:30 AM-11:30 AM at First Reformed Church and perform an open concert at the Holland Armory on June 8th 2 PM to celebrate the summer. All are welcome and wanted, both for the rehearsal and performance! We’ll pass the baton from our current Artistic Director to his successor at this concert – don’t miss the official announcement! Donations appreciated.
