Thanks to today’s concert venue sponsor Haworth Helps. We appreciate you so much!
Happy Holidays! We are so pleased you could join us for what is sure to be your favorite festive performance this holiday season. This afternoon’s concert A VISION OF COMFORT AND JOY is the second performance in our 65th Anniversary season entitled A VISION UNFOLDING. We are thrilled to welcome back to the stage this year some familiar little faces with big voices – our children’s choir. We are honored to have added West Michigan Children’s Choir to the Holland Chorale family! This afternoon you will experience festive pieces intentionally selected to inspire the hope and joy of the Christmas season – comforting with warm and fuzzy holiday classics together with Shawn Kirchner’s The Light of Hope Returning.
We invite you to join us for several additional performances this winter. Beginning in the new year our mini-series HOT WINTER NIGHTS kicks off with a presentation of Broadway classics, American songbook and popular arias. Tickets are very limited to these special performances so reserve your spots quickly!
Our third performance of the season’s series A VISION OF PEACE AND COMMUNITY on May 17, 2025 at the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts will have our singers take the stage alongside Tony-nominated, multi-platinum selling pop/jazz singer-songwriter, Ann Hampton Callaway. You won’t want to miss this!
Thank you for sharing this experience and partnering with us in our mission to transform our community through vocal and choral music which entertains, inspires and educates.
On behalf of the Holland Chorale and West Michigan Children’s Choir, we hope you enjoy the concert. May comfort and joy surround you today and always.
Jenny DeGraves
Holland Chorale Board President
